Weatherford ISDT & Liner Systems is a part of Weatherford Canada and takes pride in the sales and distribution of quality products and services. Job descriptions are developed to define clear responsibilities and authorities at the facility. The person in this position is responsible for providing administrative/ clerical support to employees working in the Business Unit. They are responsible for a multitude of administrative duties including processing of paperwork and contact with both internal WFT employees and external customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (duties include but not limited to)
  • Administrative assistant to Manager
  • Providing quality customer service and maintain good relationships with customers
  • Associated filing
  • Overall administrative support relating to paperwork and computer issues.
  • Provides information to customers concerning services in response to telephone, fax, and email inquiries
  • Billing of tickets and ensuring that proper customer requirements are met
  • Taking steps to get new accounts set up when new customers are attained
  • Related invoicing duties and following up with external customers for signatures on service tickets or other customer requirements
  • Assisting inside sales personnel with creating sales orders as required
  • Supports company goals & objectives and continual process and quality improvement initiatives
  • Successfully completing required mandatory safety courses as designated by Weatherford
  • Compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Ability to work overtime as required

Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Base knowledge of oilfield products and services
  • Demonstrated above average interpersonal skills capable of dealing with both external customers and fellow employees
  • Being adaptable to change
  • Safety minded individual and willingness for receiving both required and ongoing mandatory safety training as a condition of employment
  • Advance computer knowledge( JD Edwards, Excel, Word) and aptitude for taking advanced computer training
  • Being able to work as part of a team in a team atmosphere
  • Attention to both detail and time management
