Job Purpose

• Manage planning, design, execution, reporting and evaluation of all well interventions and A&D activities, ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with Dragon Oil policies, procedures and operating guidelines, statutory requirements and industry best practices with particular attention to Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Supervise and coordinate well interventions and A&D activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate well service operations and A&D activities; ensure that proper controls and standards are in place and that all activities comply with company policy and statutory requirements. To work offshore platforms, vessels or rigs as required by the A&D Superintendent.
• Monitor well intervention and A&D equipment performance records, monitoring and minimizing NPT and maximizing utilization.
• Help to improve well intervention and A&D work from planning to executing and evaluating.
• Supervise intervention activities on A&D rigless/ rig/vessel as required.
• Coordinate all activities between contractor and end use for all well intervention services
• Act on behalf and as a deputy for the A&D Superintendent as and when required.

Education

Qualification Requirements

• Higher professional education.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in a combination of well intervention/drilling/completion operations, and pumping with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Must be IWCF level 4 certified for well control.
• Leadership and management skills, leading senior staff and managing assets.
• English Written and Spoken - Intermediate level.
