Wood is currently sourcing experienced Painter & Blasters for an upcoming opportunity Offshore on Yolla and onsite at Bass Gas.
We are looking for a candidate with strong commitment to safety, someone who enjoys working in a team, self-motivated and can prioritise work to meet deadlines.
To be considered, applicants must have full Australian working rights.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces for painting
• Apply protective coatings and finishes according to specifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Surface Finishing or Surface Preparation & Coating) preferred
• Current MSIC and BOSIET for Offshore Painters
• Construction Induction
• High Risk Work Licence - WP - preferred
• Work at Heights Certification - preferred
• Experience in oil & Gas - preferred
• Drivers Licence
• Experience working in a multi-disciplined team highly regarded (Sheetmetal, Painting)
• Demonstrated high commitment to safety
• Commitment to HSE
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
