This Position reports to:
R&D Manager

Lead the testing team and develop processes and methods related to reliability testing. Ensure Drive products quality and reliability by having a deep understanding of what is needed to identify the weakest points of the tested products and provide the tools & processes for improvement actions.

The work model for the role is: onsite #LIonsite

This role is contributing to the System Drive division in Jüri.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Building and continuously developing high performance reliability testing team.
• Supporting the development of your team members and encouraging to continuously improve ways of working.
• Managing the resourcing, recruiting, safety, working environment, investments/tools, budgeting, hour reporting, billing, training & personal development of the team including everyday running tasks and wellbeing of the employees.
• Keeping good co-operation with other ABB R&D and PE&Q units globally and ensuring knowledge share taking continuously place between people and teams.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

• You are highly skilled of frequency converter hardware
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, electronics or power electronics
• Work experience in some of the following areas: line management, product/project management, product engineering
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to see the big picture and understanding the influence of selected solutions on the surroundings
• Hands-on working style
• Proactive and improvement-oriented mind set
• You are at ease communicating in English (spoken and written), Estonian and Russian are beneficial
• The ability to work under pressure and keep tight deadlines
