Role Summary:
The TAR SIP Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of all Scaffold, Insulation, and Painting (SIP) activities during Turnaround (TAR) events. The role ensures that SIP works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The coordinator acts as the primary interface between Bilfinger Superintendent / Supervisors and Client TAR planners, TAR SIP Coordinator , operations, HSE, and other relevant stakeholders.

Role Summary:
The TAR SIP Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of all Scaffold, Insulation, and Painting (SIP) activities during Turnaround (TAR) events. The role ensures that SIP works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The coordinator acts as the primary interface between Bilfinger Superintendent / Supervisors and Client TAR planners, TAR SIP Coordinator , operations, HSE, and other relevant stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all SIP-related activities during the turnaround lifecycle-from scope definition to execution and close-out.
- Develop and manage detailed SIP work plans, schedules, manpower forecasts, and material requirements.
- Interface with contractors to ensure work is performed safely and efficiently, aligning with site safety and quality standards.
- Participate in constructability reviews and ensure access (scaffolding) is planned and executed to meet all turnaround workface needs.
- Manage daily progress tracking, cost monitoring, and productivity metrics for SIP work.
- Coordinate scaffolding access planning across all disciplines to avoid duplication and minimize costs.
- Oversee insulation removal and reinstatement to align with mechanical work fronts.
- Ensure painting and coating works comply with specification and meet corrosion control requirements.
- Facilitate daily coordination meetings with contractors and TAR teams.
- Participate in risk assessments, HSE reviews, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly reports on SIP progress and issues.
- Support contractor performance evaluation and contribute to post-TAR lessons learned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant experience in industrial TARs with a focus on scaffolding, insulation, and painting.
- In-depth knowledge of SIP methods, materials, and standards (e.g., NACE, ISO, OSHA).
- Strong understanding of HSE practices and regulatory compliance related to TAR and site work.
- Proven experience managing multiple contractors in a high-paced, turnaround environment.
- Familiarity with project management software (Primavera, MS Project) and daily reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous Ineos FPS site experience
