We are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies that foster alignment and collaboration across corporate and site-level teams. Key responsibilities include managing website content, driving social media engagement, coordinating vendor purchasing, overseeing brand merchandise initiatives, creating impactful graphic and presentation designs, and tracking metrics and KPIs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital communications, design, data analysis, and organizational collaboration, with a passion for producing high-quality content and ensuring seamless communication across teams and divisions. Previous experience in the Aerospace industry is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities
Cross-Functional and Cross-Divisional Communication Strategies:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to ensure alignment and collaboration across corporate and site-level teams.
- Facilitate regular updates and information sharing between divisions to support organizational goals and initiatives.
- Act as a liaison to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all levels of the organization.
Website Content Management:
- Oversee migration of website content to new platforms.
- Develop, edit, and maintain website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with brand messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams to update product information, news, and announcements.
- Monitor website analytics to optimize user experience and improve engagement.
Social Media Management:
- Create and execute social media strategies across platforms to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Develop compelling content, including posts, graphics, and videos, tailored to target audiences.
- Develop/implement strategies to increase followers and enhance brand presence.
- Monitor social media metrics and adjust strategies to achieve performance goals.
Vendor Purchasing Coordination:
- Identify and manage relationships with vendors for marketing materials, merchandise, and other communication needs.
- Oversee the MarCom purchasing process for SSS.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of necessary items.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and budget tracking.
Brand Merchandise Management:
- Coordinate the ordering of brand merchandise and promotional items with vendor.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and timely replenishment.
- Track inventory and manage logistics for merchandise distribution.
Graphic & Presentation Design:
- Create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, website banners, and marketing materials.
- Design professional presentations that effectively communicate key messages and align with brand standards.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure designs meet project objectives and deadlines.
Metric & KPI Tracking:
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for website traffic, social media engagement, vendor performance, and merchandise sales.
- Use analytics tools to monitor and report on campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to optimize communication strategies and achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or Business from an accredited college or university (or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 7 years of website content management, graphic design, social media strategy and/or metric/KPI tracking experience).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in website content management, graphic design, social media strategy and/or metric/KPI tracking.
Desired Characteristics
- Proven experience in vendor purchasing and brand merchandise management.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, Excel) and content management systems (CMS i.e. WordPress block editors).
- Expertise in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and presentation tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems.
- Experience in video editing via Premiere Pro and motion graphics is a plus.
