AtkinsRéalis one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Roads team based in Cork.

Responsibilities:

• Project Manager for multi-discipline roads, active travel and site development schemes.
• Contract and commercial management.
• Design management and coordination.
• Line management and mentoring of junior staff.
• Win work activities, including bid preparation.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified (Level 8/9) in civil engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Ideally a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland or other equivalent professional body.
• Experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams delivering roads and transportation projects in Ireland and / or UK.
• Experience across multiple stages of the project life cycle including, feasibility, planning, design, tender and construction.
• Ability to achieve successful commercial management of projects, including costs and time.
• Knowledge of relevant design standards and specifications, e.g. TII, NTA etc.
• Knowledge of relevant forms of contract including Irish Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services, Public Works Contract, NEC etc.
• Potential to advance to more senior roles and responsibilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Capability to build and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Awareness of new technologies and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Full Irish or EU driving licence.
