Background:

The Infrastructure Systems Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for managing, monitoring, and supporting the organization's SCCM infrastructure. This includes server patching, vulnerability remediation, project execution, incident resolution, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain SCCM infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Design, install, maintain, and upgrade SCCM Current Branch environment.
• Plan, modify, and implement SCCM environment as organizational needs evolve.
• Assist desktop and packaging teams in following SCCM best practices.
• Deploy software applications and packages across all enterprise servers.
• Deploy security patches and manage server vulnerability remediation.
• Manage SCCM collections, inventory, client agent settings, SQL queries, and reporting.
• Support operating system deployment.
• Develop scripts (PowerShell, VBScript, etc.) to automate tasks and enhance SCCM functionality.
• Maintain documentation of SCCM configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide training and guidance to IT staff on SCCM usage and best practices.

Technical Requirements:

• 10-12 years of experience in an IT services organization.
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience as an SCCM administrator in a large-scale environment.
• Strong understanding of SCCM architecture and components.
• Experience in packaging and deploying applications.
• Proficiency in SCCM SQL queries and PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of SCCM Cloud Management Gateway and Co-management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Windows Server administration, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Experience working with global teams.
• Additional technical skills as required by the business are a plus.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
