How you'll make an impact
- Collaborate with senior consultants to plan and execute energy consulting studies.
- Design and simulate power systems using advanced modeling tools.
- Deliver high-quality technical reports and compelling presentations.
- Engage directly with clients to provide expert technical guidance.
- Identify and implement practical solutions for business and process improvements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on complex power system challenges.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your background
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Power/Energy Systems) with 3+ years of experience, or Master's with 1+ year, or PhD.
- Proficiency in power system simulation tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, MATLAB, DSATools, ETAP, CYME, SKM, or ASPEN is preferred.
- Exposure to AI/ML applications in power systems is a plus.
- Experience in transmission planning, load flow, stability, or electromagnetic transients preferred.
- Familiarity with renewables, energy storage, or EV charging systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
