Employee Relations Supervisor

Job Summary:
This role supervises a small team responsible for employee relations and benefits administration. The supervisor ensures the team operates efficiently, adhering to business plans and HR policies, while maintaining confidentiality and supporting employee and organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and guide direct reports to ensure effective delivery of employee relations activities in line with business objectives and HR policies.

Recommend training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.

Support the development of local employees as part of workforce nationalisation initiatives.

Manage employee data systems including coordination of policy implementation and system updates.

Collaborate with IT and Workforce teams to optimise employee data collection and reporting.

Generate, analyse, and validate employee reports to ensure data accuracy.

Administer various employee benefits and payments, liaising with finance to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Provide confidential advice and interpretation of HR policies to employees and managers.

Oversee activities related to secondees including contract renewals and allowance management.

Lead and validate monthly payroll processing, including verification of entitlements and pension contributions.

Support continuous improvement initiatives for HR systems, policies, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and quality standards within the HR function.

Prepare timely and accurate reports to meet departmental and organisational requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

5-7 years’ experience in employee relations or similar HR role.

Experience in petrochemical or industrial sectors preferred.

Proficient in English; working knowledge of Arabic advantageous.
