Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned leader in HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical services, is seeking a Commercial Construction HVAC Estimator to join our growing commercial division.

What You'll Do

• Analyze blueprints, project plans, and specs to understand full HVAC scope.
• Prepare detailed labor, material, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Create, present, and refine bids for commercial projects.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subs.
• Use bid data and research to generate thorough cost analyses.
• Participate in job site walkthroughs and pre-bid meetings.
• Track actual project costs to improve future estimating accuracy.
• Support value engineering efforts to enhance cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and trade partners.

What You Bring

• Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC field experience
• Strong understanding of commercial construction workflows
• Ability to read mechanical plans and specifications
• Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and Word
• Valid driver's license
• Strong organizational, analytical, and budgeting skills
