Job Summary
KBR seeking a Deputy Program Manager (PDM) to join our team at our office in Las Cruces, NM. The DPM will support the ongoing build-to-print production program spread across both manufacturing and assembly facilities in Las Cruces.
The Deputy Program Manager will work closely with the Program Manager to support day-to-day program operations and will be responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the program's production goals, strategic objectives, financial goals, and for ensuring all program components meet or exceed customer expectations. The Deputy Program Manager will also step in for the Program Manager when necessary and act as a liaison between key stakeholders, ensuring efficient program delivery and risk management. This role offers opportunities to develop leadership skills further, expand expertise in DoD program management, and contribute to an ongoing production program.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for supporting and managing the Integrated Master Schedule(s) for all tasks as well as leading and directing team status meetings on a monthly basis.
• The DPM will be responsible for assisting the PM with the management of the program Estimate at Complete (EAC), to include variance analysis and monthly financial reviews
• Supports the generation and delivery of monthly program SDRL deliverables to include Monthly Status Reports (MSR), Customer Spend Plans, and Integrated Master Schedules.
• Must lead external customer Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) or program management status meetings where needed.
• Will provide program support for customer EV requirements to include Control Account Management (CAM) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) management.
• Act as the primary point of contact when the Program Manager is unavailable
• Participate in weekly program staff meetings and be prepared to address or disseminate anything of need concerning manufacturing requirements, quality updates, supply chain needs, or contracts information.
• Responsible for customer billing and milestone schedule tracking per the program production schedule.
Basic Qualifications
• US Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Typically requires 2 to 4 years of relevant experience within the program.
• Must possess an active Top-Secret Clearance
• Direct customer interface experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with mobile SATCOM DoD systems
• Technical background with engineering and manufacturing experience
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams consisting of professionals diverse skillsets and dispersed across multiple locations
