Level 3 - Laboratory Technician
You'll play a key role in chemical analysis, quality control, and supporting manufacturing investigations. While experience in metallurgy is a bonus, it's not essential; we're more interested in your passion for lab work, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

You'll work closely with the Laboratory Supervisor and analytical team to ensure testing commitments are met. The role involves regular communication with clients to discuss turnaround times and technical queries. You'll also support manufacturing quality control through chemical testing and sample preparation, with opportunities to develop skills in optical microscopy and metallurgical assessments.

Required skills and experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Degree or HND in Chemistry, Analytical Science, or a related scientific/engineering discipline preferred
- Previous experience in a laboratory environment is essential
- Exposure to metallurgical testing or microscopy is advantageous but not required

- Sampling and testing of process tank solutions to maintain client-specified tolerances
- Preparing samples and conducting metallurgical assessments using optical microscopy
- Supervising bulk chemical deliveries
- Managing personal workload to meet KPI turnaround targets
- Performing routine lab quality control checks and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring lab equipment is well-maintained and calibrated.
