Description
The Regional Energy Manager position is responsible for leading energy operational efficiencies. This
position is also responsible for leading and developing a team of Quality Assurance and Energy Specialists
and Area Supervisors.

- Manage and lead team of Quality Assurance and Energy Specialists and Area Supervisors and
- rating process in conducting site evaluations to verify energy efficiency of homes.
- Develop training protocol for energy employees and processes.
- Responsible for the training and development of Quality Assurance and Energy Specialists and Area
- Supervisors on team.
- Be the subject matter expert for all energy regulations in assigned region with energy personnel.
- Be proactive in learning, creating ideas on improvements, and being a problem solver.
- Maintain existing client relationships through regular face to face meetings, phone calls, and emails.
- Grow the business with both new clients and recommend additional services to existing clients.
- Help cover for personnel when demand exceeds bandwidth or as necessary.
- Responsible for regional performance tracking and continuous improvement strategy.
- Front line builder communication and training.
- Dispatching scheduled inspection to markets in their region.
- Review and finalize rating in their region.
- Responsible for field inspections/testing as well as Quality Assurance and Energy Specialist and
- Area Supervisor mentoring.
- Responsible for employee development/continued improvement - Quality Assurance and Energy
- Specialist and Area Supervisor activity report
- Assist in tracking local market opportunities.
- Assist in developing action plan for improvement and market development.
- Conduct quality control

Education and Experience
- The RESNET HERS Rater Certification or RESNET HERS Field Inspector certification is
- preferred
- Energy Star, BPI, or DET Verifier certification is preferred
- Knowledge and experience with construction, home inspection, energy efficiency, or blower door and duct testing equipment; concepts and applications is ideal
- Experience with energy modeling software (Energy Gauge, REM/Rate)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership/management role
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of residential applications of building science.
- Thorough understanding of general construction concepts
