Function description

At iPS Powerful People, we are always on the lookout for talented professionals to join our pool for future offshore projects. While we do not have a specific job opening at the moment, we are proactively building a pool of qualified candidates who are ready to mobilize quickly for upcoming opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Control the winch to lift, lower and position loads such as equipment or materials.
• Ensure precise and safe movement of loads during operations.
• Regularly inspect winches, cables, and related equipment for wear and tear or defects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Ensure that loads are securely attached to the winch before lifting.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience in winch operation or a similar role in the offshore industry.
• Relevant offshore certifications.
• Proficiency in operating various types of winches and related machinery.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making skills.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks in challenging environments.
