The Role and Responsibilities

EnerMech's Industrial Services Operations team is seeking an experienced Hydro blasting Subject Matter Expert (SME). This role is central to field operations, overseeing job safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability. The SME is expected to manage multiple scopes simultaneously while ensuring commercial obligations are met.

This is a permanent role, office based at EnerMech's HQ in Houston.

Job Description:

• Lead field operations including personnel, equipment, and job execution.
• Deliver services aligned with company goals: safety, quality, customer satisfaction, profitability, and growth.
• Manage day-to-day job activities via field support personnel.
• Implement and enforce site-specific Health & Safety Plans.
• Review work orders and ensure job clarity, readiness, and client expectations are understood.
• Coordinate logistics and ensure project pre-conditions (permits, site access, etc.) are met.
• Communicate job progress to Operations Management and other stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation, enforce policies, and provide training and feedback to field staff.
• Participate in On-Call Emergency Response teams.
• Maintain communication with supervisors to ensure proper scheduling and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience running hydro blasting crews.
• Deep knowledge of hydro blasting, piping/vessel cleaning, and equipment (15k-40k PSI pumps, rotating and auto hose feed systems).
• Valid driver's license & TWIC.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Understanding of job costing, contracts, OSHA standards, and operational safety.
• Ability to read and implement job-specific Work and Safety Plans.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate in hazardous environments.
