Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain pro forma financial models for renewable energy projects including wind, solar, and battery storage, with detailed support on assumptions and document reviews.
- Prepare internal and external presentations and memoranda for investment approvals, capital raises, and senior leadership alignment.
- Support due diligence, offering materials, and documentation for structured/project finance transactions, including M&A, debt, and tax equity deals.
- Collaborate with the Power Marketing team to analyze pricing for RFP responses and bilateral negotiations with potential offtakers.
- Track and maintain project and portfolio-level valuation models, including analysis of cash flow potential and tax positions.
- Assist with the issuance, tracking, and renewal of letters of credit and related financial instruments.
Required Skills and Competencies
About You:
You're a detail-oriented financial professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for the renewable energy sector. You're comfortable managing complex models and presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Min. 2-3 years of hands-on experience with financial modeling in Excel; VBA coding a plus.
- Min. 2-3 years of relevant experience in energy, finance, consulting, or utilities.
- Familiarity with tax-equity financing structures and M&A transactions preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

- Base Salary: $70,000-$100,000 (based on experience, education and skillset)
