Subsea7 is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Tax Manager to join our team in Brazil.

Reporting directly to the Tax Director - South America and Africa, this pivotal role will be instrumental in ensuring tax compliance, driving strategic tax planning, and supporting sustainable business growth across the region.



What will you be doing?

• Lead all tax-related activities in Brazil, including direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and tax reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with municipal, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimise the company's tax position.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Provide expert tax guidance on contracts, new business initiatives, and cross-border transactions.
• Monitor and assess the impact of changes in tax legislation on business operations.
• Oversee timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax filings and audits.

What experience would we like you to have?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience in tax management, ideally within multinational corporations or Big Four firms.
• In-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Strong analytical mindset, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
