Your role and responsibilities:

This is a senior-plus level role ideal for an experienced automation engineer who enjoys applying deep technical expertise to support commercial success. In this position, you will serve as a key technical partner to our sales team - helping translate customer needs into automation solutions, answering technical questions, and ensuring our proposals are feasible, innovative and aligned with long-term Automation Vision.

You will not be responsible for sales activities, but your input will be critical in shaping technically sound and competitive solutions.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Proces Automation in Ostrava.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Provide technical inputs and support during the preparation of solution proposals and project concepts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyse customer requirements.
• Participate in technical workshops, consultations, and pre-implementation activities
• Monitor automation trends (Automation Vision) , and contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation standards and practices

Qualifications for the role

• Overall knowledge of automation, experience with ABB 800xA control systems
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking, independence, good communication skills.
