Payroll Senior Specialist
People and Culture Operations & Advisory is an internal global shared services organisation, responsible for delivering centralised and standardised People and Culture Operations & Advisory for bp from several geographical delivery centres as appropriate for bp's footprint. People and Culture Operations & Advisory are the first point of contact for People and Culture related matters; the team are policy and process experts, dedicated to delivering the best customer experience.

Payroll Senior Specialist
People and Culture Operations & Advisory is an internal global shared services organisation, responsible for delivering centralised and standardised People and Culture Operations & Advisory for bp from several geographical delivery centres as appropriate for bp's footprint. In this role You will:
- Prepare and monitor payroll data ensuring processes and data are in place for payroll processing per local requirements and regulations
- Work in coordination with the outsourced service provider(s) to ensure build to gross data is prepared and submitted in line with agreed payroll calendars
- Participate in start-of-year and end-of-year payroll activities
- Support audits and regulatory requests for payroll data and process requests for changes
- Monitor payroll input data quality (e.g. reward, performance, time and attendance etc.) and process payroll impacts
- Provide subject matter knowledge in payroll processes and end to end payroll delivery for Hungary
- Identify, raise and apply continuous improvements to area of expertise
- Support projects related to system releases, local policies and processes changes, and local continuous improvements initiatives
- Work with Finance, Tax and Payroll teams on policy changes, state regulations documentation and company initiatives
What You will need to be successful:
- Qualification in Hungarian Social Security and Payroll (TB és Bérügyintéző)
- Payroll experience on the Hungarian market
- Demonstrated ability to administer HR systems and processes efficiently and effectively, for payroll, including the understanding of legal, fiscal and regulatory requirements
- Deep knowledge of Payroll systems
- Numeracy & analytical thinking
- Proficiency in using MS Office/Office365 application.
- High level of integrity and respect for data privacy
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good time management skills, ability to keep tight deadlines
- Continues improvement mindset
- Customer focused approach with exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in Hungarian and English language
