Senior ETL & Data Modeler Engineer

To strengthen our Industrial Automation Analytics team , we are looking for software professionals to be part of the team for developing enterprise platforms and solutions for on-premise and on-cloud platforms such as Azure.

This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore, India

Your roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver scalable web applications using modern standard development platforms, ensuring adherence to best practices and software methodologies.
• Establish and maintain robust DevOps pipelines, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and build environments, to accelerate development and delivery cycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ABB project managers and technical leads for requirement gathering, design discussions, milestone tracking, and documentation.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to architect and implement innovative solutions, especially within complex customer system landscapes.
• Demonstrate technical leadership by mentoring team members, driving process improvements, and promoting innovation in solution delivery.
• Ensure consistent delivery quality and timeline predictability while complying with defined development standards and lifecycle processes.
• Possess hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and solid understanding of dashboards, programming languages, databases, and testing frameworks.

Education : BE/BTech from CSE,IS/IT,EC etc or in similar discipline

Qualifications: Minimum 7+ years of experience as Technical expertise & vision with major Primary skills in below:

• Strong expertise in database design and development, including partitioning, indexing, PL/SQL scripting, and data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional).
• Proficient in Data Warehousing concepts such as star schema, facts, dimensions, and metadata management.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/data pipeline development using tools like Azure Data Factory and Talend.
• Skilled in Python programming with exposure to Flask for data applications and API integrations.
• Worked across SQL & NoSQL databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Realtime DB) with knowledge of materialized views, procedures, functions, and data quality testing.
• Experience integrating with Web Services, SAP ERP, and other OEM enterprise applications, along with basic UNIX scripting for automation.
