JOB DESCRIPTION

Seeking an individual for a position with Zap-Lok Technology for the Production department. Position is for operating End Prep equipment in a controlled environment using customized equipment for forming Bell & Pin ends on API 5L Line Pipe. This position is an 8 hour a day shift, 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required on a rare occasion. Location is 10242 Sheldon Road Houston Tx, 77049.

Position Includes:

Be able to set up equipment using hand tools

Using a Die Grinder for prepping ends of pipe

Soaping one end of pipe

Operating a Belling Tool for forming a Bell end

Operating a Pinning Tool for forming a Pin end

Pressure Washing Bell end of pipe

Inspection of the ends of pipe using Inspection tools (OD Micrometer, ID Micrometer, Pie Tape)

Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Able to communicate well with the end prep team and manager

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Able to work at a fast-paced environment

Work environment is outside
