Job Description Summary

The Delivery Flow Leader is responsible for driving increased output aligned to customer needs and improving output forecasting and delinquency recovery. This role involves problem-solving root causes of customer impact (CTB), leading rate attainment efforts at the part level, and optimizing manufacturing plans to balance CTB and Unison financial targets. This individual will have direct input into priorities and lead GE Dayton's problem solving efforts on delivery. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Key responsibilities include aligning output forecasts with production plans, escalating shortages, and enabling internal fulfillment shifts. Success is measured through KPIs such as CTB flags, spares and assembly COGS, delinquency, input CTB weeks, and release availability percentages.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Problem solve root causes of customer delivery impact. Develop and execute action plan to improve clear to build (CTB).
  • Lead proactive rate readiness analysis and implement processes to attain rate across programs throughout the manufacturing and materials planning horizon.
  • Assess and escalate delivery risk at an assembly, component, and raw material level through 26+ weeks.
  • Ownership of delinquency problem-solving efforts to reduce backlog and improve delivery performance.
  • Create output forecasts aligned with manufacturing plan. Optimize that plan to balance customer criticality with Unison financial KPIs. Implement effective countermeasures when targets are missed.
  • Build capability within materials & fulfilment teams in problem solving through practical integration of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals.
  • Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs to ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum of 5 years of Problem-solving root causes of customer delivery impact (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Problem solving root causes of customer delivery impact).
