The End User Field Sales Engineer plays a critical role in driving business growth by managing a defined portfolio of End User accounts in Greece, including customers in the Refinery, Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Life Sciences sectors. This role involves reaching orders, sales, and profitability goals by encouraging positive relationships with key collaborators and aligning Emerson's Measurement Solutions (MSOL) offerings to fulfill customer requirements. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Achieve Sales, Bookings, and Gross Profit targets for the full Measurement Solutions portfolio within the assigned account portfolio;
  • Own the bookings forecast for your accounts, ensuring consistent performance and completing recovery actions when needed;
  • Negotiate business contracts, including discounts and pricing structures, in line with Delegation of Authority;
  • Build a deep understanding of each customer's business, language, and industry to promote relevant products and solutions;
  • Develop and implement customer growth plans, track progress, and document activity in CRM;
  • Communicate and contextualize Emerson's value propositions to address customer-specific needs and challenges;
  • Expand your network within each account, identifying and engaging with key decision-makers and influencers;
  • Improve customer engagement through in-person visits, calls, and virtual meetings;
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales Engineers, Product Managers, Business Development Managers, Industry Leaders) to build compelling technical and commercial offers;
  • Work closely with country and industry sales management to ensure lead follow-up and pipeline growth;
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to defend and grow Emerson's market share;
  • Maintain opportunity pipelines and site plans for each account in CRM, including mapping installed base and sales cycles;
  • Define and maintain strategic account plans with short-, medium-, and long-term growth actions;
  • Use data analytics and CRM insights (e.g., whitespace, pricing, segmentation) to optimize accoun
  • Cooperate with operations, order management, execution, and service teams to meet delivery expectations and improve customer experience.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • A STEM degree or comparable technical education;
  • Proven experience selling technology solutions to customers in relevant industries;
  • Strong results orientation and a passion for driving growth;
  • Conflict management and complexity-handling capabilities;
  • Persuasive communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Strong business insight and ability to interpret commercial contracts;
  • Fluent English and Greek language skills, both written and spoken;
  • Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time;
  • Valid driving license;
  • Industry-specific application knowledge (Refinery, O&G, Chemical, Life Sciences) is a strong advantage;

  • Experience managing large, complex accounts across multiple partners;

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to adapt to change and perform under uncertainty;
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and using analytics for account planning;
  • Ability to lead cross-functional account teams and influence without authority;
  • Active presence on professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) in line with marketing guidelines;
  • Prior experience with the Measurement Solutions portfolio is a plus.
