Job Purpose
Provide comprehensive reservoir evaluation and well testing services. Deliver accurate data and insights that optimize hydrocarbon recovery and production strategies.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
• Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of reservoir evaluation and well testing activities.
• Design and execute well testing programs that accurately assess reservoir properties and performance.
• Collaborate with geoscientists and reservoir engineers to ensure well testing objectives align with production strategies.
• Manage the collection and analysis of data from well testing operations, providing insights that inform reservoir behavior, productivity, and potential reserves.
• Interpret well test results to optimize reservoir management, production forecasts, and recovery strategies.
• Coordinate with asset management team to ensure availability and maintenance of well testing equipment and tools.
• Optimize the utilization of resources for well testing operations, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements in well testing techniques, reservoir evaluation technologies, and data analysis methods.
• Apply innovative approaches to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of well testing programs.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing technical inquiries, discussing well test objectives, and presenting results.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure client satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
• 15 years broad experience in reservoir engineering and well testing, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
• In-depth knowledge of well testing methodologies, reservoir behaviour, and production optimization strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software relevant to reservoir evaluation and well testing.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities for client interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
• Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
