The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly motivated Utilities Operator 1 that will assist in the maintenance of the water distribution system and collection system for our community. You will be part of a team that prides itself on providing safe drinking water for the citizens of Cibolo, and effectively removing wastewater through our collection system.

Compensation: Hourly range for this position is $20.43/hr. - $30.66/hr. (DOE) plus outstanding fringe benefits package which includes 100% fully paid employee health, vision, dental, and life insurance, generous retirement package, 13 paid holidays plus 1 floating holidays that are awarded at the beginning of each fiscal year, 2 weeks of vacation, and so much more!

- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Must have a valid Texas Class C driver's license.
- At least six (6) months of professional experience in water or wastewater.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Class "D" Water license from TCEQ within six (6) months of hiring and/or class availability.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Traffic Flagger and Work Zone Safety certification within one (1) year of hiring and/or class availability.
