We are currently seeking Flow Assurance Study Manager to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

About The Job
  • General management of and accountability for the Flow Assurance team, addressing project performance, staff development, client relationships and interfaces to ensure high performance levels.
  • Technical & commercial responsibility for proposals. Perform as Proposal Manager as required
  • Responsibility for Development Studies to ensure profitability, quality and client satisfaction.
  • Work as lead engineer and/or study manager, targeting 70% reimbursability (annually)
  • Manage resources and projects to maintain the business reimbursability target.
  • Create a learning environment with development opportunities for employees and support operational excellence, quality improvement, and efficiency of the team.
  • Ensure effective client contact, relationship building & management are in place to positively influence the client, and to view the company as the preferred service provider.
  • Support business development to attract and retain clients. Provide required technical sales support in line with Commercial team strategy and requirements
  • Support the development of the regional strategy, based on the company overall strategy
  • Sustain a high value Safety culture and assure a safe working environment.
  • Ensuring consistency of delivery and technical assurance across projects performed by the team
  • Supervise lead/senior engineers in developing in-house design tools as part of continuous improvement initiative
  • Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and quality through participation in safety and quality initiatives.


About You

Must have:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 15 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry with relevant Engineering degree. Advanced degree preferred;
  • Experience in an engineering services / consulting business, with broad knowledge across the relevant disciplines;
  • Technical excellence in Flow Assurance with deep understanding of specialist software, Olga, Pipesim, Multiflash, Pipenet etc.
  • Perform steady state and transient flow assurance study
  • Technical understanding of and related disciplines such as Field Development, Process and pipelines;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and small teams;
  • Excellent communication skills in all forms, with both external (client) and internal (engineering team) stakeholders; and,
  • Strong understanding of Consultancy services, business model & commercials.
  • Ability to conduct sales meetings and presentations to clients
  • An outgoing, proactive, positive, can do attitude.
