Position Summary

• Ready to lead from the top? As a Roof Lead, you'll be at the forefront of solar installation-guiding teams, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality PV systems on rooftops and ground mounts. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge solar tech, climb to new heights (literally), and help power a cleaner future.
  What You'll Do:
  
  • Lead on-site solar installs-rooftop or ground mount
  • Direct crews, assign tasks, and ensure top-tier quality & safety
  • Handle tools, measurements, racking, flashing, and minor electrical work
  • Install projects adhering to Freedom Forever plan sets
  • Flashing penetrations as needed to ensure project quality
  • Ensure all work is performed in strict compliance with Freedom Forever policies, applicable codes (Ex: NFPA-70, IRC, IFC, CA-T24, etc.).
  • Communicate with the team and sometimes directly with customers
  • Load, transport, and lift materials (up to 50+ lbs)
  • Follow all plans, codes, and safety protocols to the letter
  • Travel and represent the company with pride
  What You Bring:
  
  • 1+ year of PV install experience (6+ months as a crew lead)
  • Strong knowledge of solar systems, tools, and installation methods
  • A leader's mindset: organized, safety-focused, and motivating
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all conditions
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

High Priority

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Employee is required to travel for business purposes, not including commute to and from work.) If required to travel, must have a valid Driver's License/Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
