Your work days are brighter here.

At Workday, it all began with a conversation over breakfast. When our founders met at a sunny California diner, they came up with an idea to revolutionize the enterprise software market. And when we began to rise, one thing that really set us apart was our culture. A culture which was driven by our value of putting our people first. And ever since, the happiness, development, and contribution of every Workmate is central to who we are. Our Workmates believe a healthy employee-centric, collaborative culture is the essential mix of ingredients for success in business. That's why we look after our people, communities and the planet while still being profitable. Feel encouraged to shine, however that manifests: you don't need to hide who you are. You can feel the energy and the passion, it's what makes us unique. Inspired to make a brighter work day for all and transform with us to the next stage of our growth journey? Bring your brightest version of you and have a brighter work day here.

About the Team
The UKI Field Marketing team is responsible for building and executing integrated marketing programmes that drive pipeline growth and deliver measurable ACV. Fuelling the continued success of Workday in the region.

We are trusted strategic partners to the UKI Sales organisation, going beyond conventional marketing approaches to shape and influence commercial outcomes. We use deep, data-led insights to engage and activate audiences across a range of channels, empowering bold decisions that drive results.

We have a strong commitment to collaboration and operate as one cohesive local and extended team, fully aligned with our EMEA and Global marketing counterparts under a shared, integrated GTM strategy. This creates strong alignment, collective purpose, and a high-performing culture built on shared success.

About the Role

We are looking for a results-oriented marketing leader to join the UKI Field Marketing team. A rockstar leader who can connect marketing initiatives directly to commercial outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, able to translate business priorities into integrated, multi-channel marketing programmes that accelerate pipeline growth and deliver measurable ACV.

This person will also lead and manage the talented UKI Industry Marketing team providing direction, coaching, and day-to-day support to ensure delivery, alignment to GTM priorities, and a strong connection between marketing activity and sales outcomes.

Success in this role also depends on leading from the front, owning key initiatives, managing risks, and communicating progress clearly to keep stakeholders aligned and confident in delivery.

You will
  • Foster a positive team culture, leading and developing the Industry Demand Generation marketing team through effective career and performance management.
  • Translate business priorities into clear, actionable, and data-led marketing strategies with measurable impact on pipeline and revenue.
  • Demonstrate independent ownership and strategic leadership of key programmes. Able to set direction, drive delivery, collaboration and report on results.
  • Provide structured, regular updates on UKI marketing activity and performance to senior marketing and sales stakeholders, to ensure awareness and enable clear decision-making
  • Use performance data and insights to continuously optimise and evolve programmes cross channel, working with channel and campaign partners to identify the high-impact actions that will drive the biggest returns.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the business, leading with recommendations and shaping marketing's role in the growth of the business
  • Guide and support the UKI Marketing team, fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and results-orientation.

About You

You'll bring significant experience in field marketing, with a strong track record of translating business priorities into impactful marketing strategies. You are a dynamic people leader with proven ability to thrive in a complex, matrixed environment with multiple senior stakeholders. You'll be instrumental in evolving our go-to-market strategy and driving the commercial success of the UKI region.

As a leader and mentor to a team of marketers, you work collaboratively with EMEA and Global marketing colleagues, sales leadership, and cross-functional partners to deliver results. You lead with clarity, bring a strategic lens to marketing execution, and are equally comfortable aligning on the big-picture direction and leaning in to get it done.

Basic Qualifications
  • 15 years of experience in marketing
  • Proven track record of managing and developing diverse teams.
  • Strong background in holistic digital strategies.
  • Expertise in building customer-centric marketing strategies.

Other Qualifications
  • Results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving or exceeding business goals.
  • Knowledge of the local enterprise software market, preferably within HR and/or Financial applications
  • Strategically-minded but willing to be very hands on to get programs executed
  • Proven ability to effectively execute integrated, streamlined marketing programs that drive pipeline
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of an organisation including executive management, sales, and marketing
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and visionary self-starter.
  • Results-driven with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
