Function description
Are you a seasoned ASD Tug Captain with hands-on experience in high-stakes maritime operations?
We're looking for a professional who can take command of a powerful ASD tug and lead both harbor and offshore missions with precision and confidence.
This role centers around towage operations, including single and double towing, barge and hull transport, and rig moves.
You'll be navigating demanding conditions and coordinating with crews to ensure safe and efficient execution.
The vessel is equipped for versatility and strength, making it ideal for offshore support and maneuvering in tight harbor spaces.
A key part of this role is mentoring: you'll be expected to train a Chief Officer to become an ASD Captain, sharing your expertise and fostering operational excellence.
Candidates without tugboat experience will not be considered, as this position requires deep familiarity with ASD maneuvering and towage logistics.
