This Position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.
The work model for the role is : Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Procurement team in EUOPC (European Operation Center). The main stakeholders are part of Energy Industries Switzerland within ABB's Process Automation business area.

This role is contributing to the Procurement team in EUOPC (European Operation Center). The main stakeholders are part of Energy Industries Switzerland within ABB's Process Automation business area.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Initiate simple supply orders in the system, confirms delivery with suppliers, monitors and tracks supplier performance to purchase order requirements (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolves performance issues.
- Align supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.
- Open Order Management (OC, delivery tracking, goods receipt)
- Invoice resolution and contact with AP..
- Support the overall Supplier Qualification and onboarding activity (supplier registration and qualification questionnaire assessment). Support supplier in case of issues and contact supporting team if needed.
- Ensures SAP Ariba global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in ABB Ariba procedure.
- Support proposal team for qualified supplier during proposal.
Qualifications for the role:
- Experience in Procurement related position/ Supplier Qualification will be an asset
- Hands-on experience working with SAP/ (purchasing module) - SAP Ariba would an asset
- Proficient in business English (B2 min) required, German (or any additional foreign language are going to be advantage)
- Proactive approach and problem solving attitude way of working / flexibility/ team work spirit
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Experience of working in Back Office SCM operations
- Strong attention to detail coupled with strong analytical capacities
- Advanced Excel skills would be a plus
