Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Main Circuit Designer to join our team at the ABB System Drives division in Jüri.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design of main circuits and power electronics in various product development projects. Work model: on site #LI-onsite

• Dimensioning and designing the main circuit and power electronics of frequency converters
• Specifying verification tests and analyzing results
• Creating and maintaining design documentation
• Researching new components and topologies to support innovation
• Cooperating with subcontractors and suppliers
• Working as part of a product development project
• Traveling when necessary to execute tasks

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in power electronics design, including main circuit components of electrical drives
• You have 3+ years of experience in product development of power electronics systems
• You possess advanced skills in circuit simulation software and methodologies
• You are captivated by technical problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Degree in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• You are at ease communicating in English, both written and spoken
• Experience with electromagnetic compliance (EMC) and gate driver design is considered beneficial
