This Position reports to:
Production Manager

We are offering a position as a mechanical assembler / mechanic at ABB Oy in Vaasa.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Smart Power Division, Electrification.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responding to emergencies/breakdowns.
• Reporting all recurring problems with machinery and equipment.
• Outlining problems with parts that can be identified and addressed for record-keeping.
• Setting calibration and adjusting equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.

Qualifications for the role:

• Highly skilled in mechanical diagnostics, calibration techniques, and industrial maintenance methodologies
• Minimum 3-5 years in industrial machinery maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or production environments
• Familiarity with mechanical systems such as conveyor belts, pumps, compressors, and calibration instruments
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
• Comfortable communicating in Finnish

• Laitteiden, koneiden ja instrumenttien kalibrointi ja säätö tuotanto-ohjeiden mukaisesti

Pätevyysvaatimukset:

• Vankka osaaminen mekaanisessa diagnostiikassa, kalibrointitekniikoissa ja teollisuuden kunnossapitomenetelmissä
• Vähintään 3-5 vuoden kokemus teollisuuskoneiden huollosta, mieluiten valmistus- tai tuotantoympäristössä
• Tuntemus mekaanisista järjestelmistä, kuten kuljetinhihnoista, pumpuista, kompressoreista ja kalibrointilaitteista
• Tutkinto tai ammattitutkinto konetekniikasta, teollisuuden kunnossapidosta tai vastaavalta alalta
• Sujuva suomen kielen taito
