Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, plan, and implement procurement strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for an assigned category or group of categories. Each day, you will ensure execution in accordance with company, procurement, and supply base management instructions and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.

This role is contributing to the Motion High Power Business in Estonia. Main stakeholders include Category Managers, Supplier Quality, Engineering, and Production teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Planning and optimizing electrical steel stock levels to ensure availability while minimizing excess inventory, in alignment with production needs and procurement strategy.
• Analyzing and planning stamping and notching capacity, ensuring alignment with production forecasts and driving efficient resource utilization.
• Managing procurement activities, including tracking cost budgets, supplier performance, and driving savings initiatives in coordination with category and sourcing teams.
• Identifying and supporting the qualification of new suppliers, focusing on quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Driving continuous improvement in production and supply processes, identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, and supporting investment planning to enhance operational performance.

Qualifications for the role

• You own a degree or proven experience in engineering, production planning, supply chain, or a related field.
• You have practical experience in production environments, with a strong understanding of operational processes.
• You possess advanced analytical skills and enjoy working with data to drive decisions.
• You are passionate about problem-solving, client orientation, and continuous improvement.
• You are at ease communicating in English and Estonian; Russian, Swedish, or Finnish are a plus.
