Job Description Summary

The Obeya Rate Attainment Leader for Tubes & Ducts & Shared Hardware Solutions will support the Value Stream Integration Leader in driving cross-functional integration, prioritization, escalation, alignment, and collaboration across Safety, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing. This position requires a strong data-rich, S&OP background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, within a team. This role will focus on supporting the Tubes & Ducts Part Family & Shared Hardware Solutions in enabling the business to ramp to the required engine rate.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Safety: Ensure compliance with GE Aerospace safety standards and promote a safety-first culture.
• Quality: Maintain high-quality standards and ensure deliverables meet industry and company requirements.
• Delivery: Manage tasks to meet deadlines and collaborate with teams for timely project completion.
• Cost: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.
• Assist in identifying and understanding the most likely 6-18+ month problems and flow stoppers on a 5-quarter horizon
• Support alignment and communication between readiness leaders on priority and escalation of capacity gaps via the Obeya process
• Participate in problem-solving teams to solve gaps using FLIGHT DECK operating model
• Highlight process gaps and continuous improvement opportunities to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and integrity across different functions to achieve common goals
• Eliminate unnecessary roadblocks and bureaucracy to streamline processes and enhance productivity
• Assist in creating and continuously improving processes to collect intelligence and construct predictive models to enhance & drive decision-making
• Engages with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and customers, to ensure alignment on capacity planning, delivery schedules, and quality expectations while creating & executing model predictions
• Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks related to capacity bottlenecks, supply chain disruptions, and quality issues.
• Work closely with readiness, fulfillment, delivery, and materials & execution planning leaders to develop & streamline an efficient and accurate process & set of standards to consistently support the Obeya process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing Engineering or Operations experience + minimum of 5 years managing master planning, material processes, and S&OP systems experience
