We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our Energy Products and Services HR team! The Human Resources Generalist will provide support for the segment HSE, Finance, Sales and HR groups, and will play a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace environment and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This position is responsible for managing employee relations and overseeing the administration of company HR policies. The HR Generalist will work closely with management to address employee concerns and promote a culture of engagement and productivity.
As a segment level HR Generalist, this position supports EPS HR Leadership team with various projects and reporting, and also serves as the main point of contact for immigration/work authorization matters and the segment ICP bonus coordinator.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a current knowledge of state and federal laws regarding human resources activities and ensure compliance with employment laws and reporting.
- Provide advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Advise management on the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Perform investigations where appropriate, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Maintain system records and generate ad hoc and customized data reports in support of the EPS Segment HR team.
- Manage and support full employee life cycle practices including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development and exit/offboarding.
- Perform coordinator responsibilities for segment Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP)
- Assist with payroll activities, including maintenance of timekeeping system, pay period close tasks, and act as liaison with corporate payroll department.
- Work with HR Central on all HR related actions/changes including new hires, contingent workers, promotions, job changes, etc., ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
- Provide guidance and assistance to business unit HR leaders and managers on visa applications, renewals, and other immigration-related matters, and coordinate these activities with NOV Global Mobility Team and immigration law firm.
- Perform other work-related tasks and duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or HR Management with 3+ years of professional Human Resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, laws, and regulations
- Practical experience addressing employee relations issues and performing thorough investigations
- Experience with immigration and work authorization processes is preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Background using HRIS systems to support HR operations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
