JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is based out of our Ulsan office and it's a 2 years contractual role.

Job Description:

• Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspections to ensure products meet defined specifications and quality standards.
• Review engineering drawings, material certifications, and technical specifications for compliance.
• Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and test methods.
• Identify and investigate non-conformities, initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and follow up on resolutions.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to monitor process capability and product quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and calibration logs in accordance with ISO and customer requirements.
• Provide training to production staff on quality standards and procedures.
• Support customer inspections and third-party verification when required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimal experience for the role, some knowledge in QC or QA role in a manufacturing, oil & gas, marine, or engineering environment is an advantage.
• Minimal understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, welding standards, and material specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASME, API, or relevant industry standards.
• Experience with measuring tools (e.g. Vernier, micrometer, CMM, UT gauges).
• Some knowledge of quality documentation, CAPA, FMEA, 8D, and audit processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or QMS software knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
