Job Description Summary

The Site Leader will provide strategic vision, operational leadership, and technical expertise to drive GE Innoveering's goals and strategies. This role is responsible for aligning business development activities with technical capabilities, fostering innovation, and ensuring operational excellence. The Site Leader will strengthen and further develop the established leadership team, manage R&D transitions, and execute business plans to achieve financial, cultural, and productivity goals.

Job Description

SITE LEADER - Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy:
  • Provide vision, insight, and leadership in designing business plans aligned with GE Innoveering's goals and strategies.
  • Collaborate with GE Aerospace and GE Hypersonics/EW teams to understand their technical and business strategies, ensuring operational alignment and support.
  • Link business development activities with technical capabilities to enhance successful capture of new business while maintaining innovation and performance.


Talent Management:
  • Strengthen and empower the existing leadership team by leveraging their technical and business acumen, while continuing to foster a collaborative culture.
  • Inspire and motivate employees, teaching management skills such as relationship building, delegation, and accountability.
  • Advance technology, foster innovation, and develop product roadmaps to support business strategy.


Execution:
  • Set organizational, technical, and business performance goals with clear metrics and timelines.
  • Hold leadership and management teams accountable for achieving goals through performance-based plans.
  • Support new business capture by providing operational assets and skill sets for program execution.
  • Collaborate with GE Emerging Technology Engineering teams to drive engagement and process improvements.

Measure Success:
  • Develop and achieve financial plans, striving for annual revenue growth of 20% and profit margins of 8-10%.
  • Ensure all departments understand their financial commitments and are accountable for their budgets.
  • Support aggressive business development aligned with GE growth plans, focusing on propulsion and hypersonic engine development.

Culture:
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, high performance, and frequent communication.
  • Hire world-class talent and establish clear expectations for professional performance and growth.
  • Support EHS/Quality culture and transition the plant to a well-maintained aerospace business environment.


Productivity:
  • Assist in establishing productivity goals in engineering, testing, and shop operations.
  • Implement GE Aerospace Flight Deck standards for visual management and operating rhythms.
  • Drive organizational excellence by proactively addressing performance challenges through strategic counseling and the implementation of tailored Performance Improvement Plans .


Organization:
  • Establish daily, weekly and monthly operating rhythms with the leadership team.
  • Spend the majority of work time at the Bohemia plant, with travel as needed to support the Rockledge, FL office.


Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 12 years of overall management experience in engineering, program management, business development, operations, and testing.
  • Knowledge of Aerospace and Defense industries, with a focus on hypersonics and propulsion.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects by documenting, planning, marketing, and executing.
  • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government contract restrictions and this posting is only for U.S. Citizens. GE will require proof of status.

The base pay range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on September 10, 2025.
