Job Description

DP World is seeking for a Sales Executive to support the growth of DP World's Solar vertical by executing day-to-day sales activities, nurturing customer relationships, and generating new leads.

The role focuses on expanding the customer base within assigned geographies and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction to drive revenue growth.

The Sales Executive works closely with the Business Development Manager to implement the sales strategy, achieve revenue targets, and support contract renewals while maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers across multiple levels within customer organizations.

How you will contribute
  • Execute the sales strategy to meet and exceed individual revenue targets.
  • Identify and develop new leads through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Support the Business Development Manager with RFQ responses, proposals, and contract renewals.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate pipeline and account data.
  • Assist in preparing customer presentations and supporting materials for pitches and meetings.
  • Nurture and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Gather market intelligence, including competitor activities and industry trends, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Legal, and IT) to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery.
  • Promote DP World's values and act as an ambassador in all interactions with clients and industry stakeholders.

What you will bring
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Around 3-5 years of experience in sales, ideally within logistics, transport, freight forwarding, or renewable energy sectors with a proven track record of having consistently achieved on a sales quota at a relevant scale (experience in B2B solution sales is preferred).
  • Experience within logistics sales with existing book of business and/or within the Solar vertical.
  • IT skills - You are highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; plus you are a good administrator when it comes to CRM-tool management.
  • Flexibility to travel - You are ready to travel as needed, but at least between 30 - 60% of the time.
  • Languages - You speak and write fluent English - additional languages are a bonus.
