As part of the US Renewables business under the global Gas, Renewables and Power Business Unit, our Asset Management and Operations team manages a diverse range of projects-from rooftop C&I PV systems to utility-scale wind, solar, and BESS installations. With a portfolio of 13 UPP PV, 3 UPP BESS, and 85 DG projects (by end of 2025), totaling 4 GW UPP PV, 450 MW UPP BESS, and 200 MW DG, we are committed to maximizing performance and driving the future of clean energy.

Your Impact
As the Director of Performance Management, you will:
- Develop and execute the Technical Performance Management program for our operating portfolio (PV, BESS, wind) across the US and Canada.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of performance analysts and engineers.
- Implement performance improvement strategies using data analysis and industry best practices to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize energy production.
- Oversee analytics, dashboards, and reporting to track KPIs and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Operations to troubleshoot issues, drive operational availability, and develop field tools.
- Coordinate annual production budgeting by integrating historical performance, weather, and market dynamics.
- Manage software tools (APM, CMMS), own the budget, and interface with IT support.
- Engage with global teams to share best practices and coordinate platform-level initiatives.
- Enhance risk mitigation through predictive maintenance and condition-based monitoring.
- Provide timely, accurate reporting on technical performance, including contractual KPIs.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, especially the integration of AI into performance management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning.

Candidate Profile
What We're Looking For
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.), Data Science, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven expertise in PV, BESS, or wind energy performance engineering/management.
- Experience with data acquisition, energy modeling, performance analytics, and renewable energy software tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple activities, work under pressure, and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and coaching skills.
- Experience with Python, R, SGL, or other programming languages.
- Familiarity with the full suite of renewable energy technologies (PV, BESS, Wind, Distributed Solar).
- Comfort with a formative-stage company and a passion for process improvement.
- Based in Austin, Texas.
