JOB PURPOSE

Supervise the condition monitoring of rotating equipment; analyse, assess and report its reliability, and recommend areas for improvement to contribute in maintaining and maximizing the Site's performance

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Condition Monitoring
  • Supervise the collection of rotating equipment condition monitoring data for analysis and performance maintenance/improvement and other purposes.
  • Supervise the carrying out of the periodic inspection and predictive maintenance on rotating machinery such as gas compressors, pumps gas and steam turbines, blowers, motors etc. as per the defined specifications.
  • Supervise the Condition Monitoring checking which include, but not limited to, vibrations, temperature and pressures, oils' levels and flows, steam traps mapping, surveillance, and traps analysis. Raise the relevant work orders.
  • Supervise the daily review and checking of online monitoring systems to ensure that the machines' performance is maintained at higher levels.
  • Supervise the inspection of rotary equipment alignment, commissioning and their acceptance after any repair.
  • Build and update the equipment conditions monitoring database for easy data reference and retrieval.
  • Analyse machinery issues and recommend cost-efficient solutions to ensure the equipment reliability and contribute in maintaining and maximizing the Plant's performance.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports on rotating equipment condition monitoring to enable decision making.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in supervising the condition monitoring activities within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Fundamental understanding in the development of condition monitoring programs and rotating equipment function's procedures throughout the life cycle of the project with demonstrated technical leadership and support to the team.
  • Experience in applying the relevant HSE standards and procedures.
  • Experience with IT applications relevant to the job.
  • Planning, organising, scheduling, co-ordinating, checking, examining, and recording.


Professional Certifications
  • Vibration Certificate (level 2 and 3) depending on the maturity of the technique as described in the Operational Excellence Manual.
