Reporting directly to the Manchester Office Lead you will be core to our growing business, delivering our results and will work collaboratively with all other parts of the Project & Programme Services (PPS) business and alongside the Regional Leadership Team for the North. The role will entail leading the Manchester PM team but also supporting growth across the region. The role will be integral to the leadership of NW and office.

- Delivery Excellence - agile to client requirements, run towards problems and deploy the right people to deliver work of value to our clients. Ensure robust management of projects to achieve the outcomes expected by PPS and our clients.
- Technical Excellence - support the development of service streams to maximise delivery and promote technical excellence. Working with our TLG and IDO manager evolve our technical delivery model to take advantage of consistent and efficient delivery in all technical disciplines.
What you can bring:
- Proven ability in a senior leadership role as well as being able to build, lead and motivate a team through change.
- Experience of creating and utilising an effective network which spans clients, business partners and other stakeholders. Be both client and market facing with a visible digital profile.
- Substantial knowledge and understanding of relevant PPS disciplines to support delivery excellence.
- Strong commercial acumen, and strong knowledge, experience and understanding of our corporate governance system.
- A track record of managing a P+L and delivering strong financial performance for your teams.
- Engendered a culture of continual improvement and development of services through innovation, technology, and new business models.
- A desire to exceed targets and a proven track record in exceeding business performance expectations.
- High emotional intelligence with effective questioning/listening skills. Able to communicate with confidence at all levels.
- Ability to adapt approach to situations and remain calm under pressure.
- A collaborative team-player who operates to high behavioural standards and business ethics and is always an ambassador for our wider business.
