Position Overview

Chevron is seeking a highly skilled Digital Archivist to join our Chevron Her itage Center (CHC) team and maintain the Enterprise Digital Asset Management System (DAM) . This position oversee s digital asset storage, compliance with legal and corporate policies, user training, and system troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create s , maintain s and prioritize s road maps for DAM growth and development.

  • Submit s IT tickets and help troubleshoot issues in the application.

  • Perform s digital asset and user audits.

  • Manage s user group creation and training of new DAM users throughout the company.

  • Ensure s all digital media assets purchased or produced by Chevron are stored and tracked in compliance with partner agreements, relevant copyright laws and Chevron policies.

  • Develop s taxonomies and metadata models for the DAM system and develop processes that allow Chevron to track usage rights, legal documentation, and retention schedules.

  • Act s as the digital asset management SME and provide digital archiving support to the enterprise. Also leads support efforts for the Chevron Heritage Center's digital storage needs, working with IT to troubleshoot and strategize for future growth.

  • Assists with internal and external customer service requests. Purchase stock media for projects across the enterprise. Work with Legal to review new stock vendors and act as point of contact for current stock media vendors.

  • Track s and report KPIs to leadership.

  • Maintain s and updates team's Policy & Procedure workflows.

  • S peaking and presenting to internal and external stakeholders about the CHC and digital asset management at Chevron.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Library/Information Science Management . Equivalent experience will be considered .

  • 3+ years of experience working as a digital asset management professional.

  • Knowledge of a variety of productivity applications, database systems, and graphic editors.

  • Ability to keep abreast of technology developments within the industry.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of archiving principles and practices governing digital media assets.

  • Subject matter expert in taxonomy, cataloging, metadata strategies and digital asset management best practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a corporate setting.

  • Detail-oriented and reliable .

  • Ability to work independently and in teams across the enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Library/Information Science Management .

  • Digital and corporate archives emphasis .

  • Experience working in Workfront, Adobe Suite, and Sitecore's Content Hub
