The role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Opportunity Engineering Lead to join our Iraq Business Unit.

Activites:
- Maintain the Opportunity portfolio
- Coordinate prioritization and resources with leadership
Work in a multifunctional team to evaluate opportunity development alternatives: -
- Assess and evaluate cost effective technologies
- Select the concept and execution plan that best satisfy business objectives
- Develop cost and schedule estimates
- Lead project categorization and risk ranking
Lead in the development of FOMS Form 1 and Form 2:
- Define the Project Objectives and Strategies
- Develop the business justification - the 3-whys
- Work with Surface Technical to develop the Technical Basis
- Support Projects to develop the Execution Basis
- Works with Operations to develop the Operations Basis
- Coordinates 3rd party engineering support, if required, to evaluate development opportunities
- Steward Form approvals
- Lead opportunity development until handover to Projects for execution

Expected:
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- 15+ years of Oil and Gas Experience is preferred
Role-Specific Skills:
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills
- Knowledge of production facilities
- Knowledge of industry standards that apply to oil and gas processing
- Understanding of the principles of estimating; able to work with Cost and Schedule estimators to develop screening estimates for a broad range of development concept
Systems:
- Managed Projects System (MPS) or equivalent project management system
- FOMS System 3-1 or equivalent Management of Change system
- Local Area Network (LAN)
