- Accurately identify customer needs and provide estimates for integrated system solutions
- Interact with customers, NI staff, external partners, and external suppliers in support of designing, implementing, and sustaining custom solutions
- High-level collaborative design of integrated solutions
- Ensure that consistency to custom solution development processes, new product introduction processes, and procedures
- Review work quality and provide feedback to other engineers
- Design and develop software libraries and APIs to be demonstrated by multiple projects
- Work with Senior Engineers to find optimal technical solutions to project challenges
- Responsible for software engineering work you're doing (documentation, code reviews, etc.) and development tasks

For this Role, You will Need:
- Minimum BS degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) rigor
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development, and system integration and/or test and measurements industry
- In-depth technical knowledge of NI products and platforms.
- Willing and able to travel up to 50 % of the time
- English level B2
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- BS or equivalent experience in or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering, electronics & computer architecture
- Demonstrated success and experience using high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++)
- Experience developing large-scale integrated systems.
- Proven expertise in processes ensure quality and predictability for software development.
- Thorough understanding of systems design principles.
- Ability to identify and solve system engineering problems.
- Excellent technical and executive communication skills and experience working directly with customers, engineers, and business participants
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment. Service oriented attitude
