Job Description:

Job Summary: This role will be working on the migration of critical business applications to Azure Cloud Platform. You will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of this strategic project by collaborating closely with technical leads, architects, developers, testers and other collaborators.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed invent and implement robust solutions using Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Lead or give to all phases of solution design, development, testing and implementation
• Work closely with other members of the team, providing support and guidance as needed
• Share a point of view and guidance to junior staff and peers
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team
• Perform peer reviews for other developers and provide feedback to improve their work
• Create and maintain user documentation for reference and auditing purposes

Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge of software engineering principles, practices and tools
• Experience of developing and deploying enterprise-level systems
• Validated ability to solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues
• Experience of working with different teams and handling priorities across several projects
• Strong communication and social skills, including experience of presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices
• Experience of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash or Python
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management
• Familiarity with configuration management and version control tools such as Git
• Ability to write clear, concise reports and specifications
• Comfortable working in a meaningful environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Experience of working with security sensitive data and systems
