This role will be a member of the bp Supply, Trading & Shipping (ST&S) Technology application portfolio, delivering digital products to our business entities and more specifically responsible for fuel supply & midstream digital platforms, operations and digital transformation. Within Fuel Supply & Midstream business unit of ST&S,

Product Management at bp is a vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology.

This role will be primarily involved in Midstream digitization initiatives, accountable for requirements analysis and management, determining the most appropriate means to represent business requirements in the context of technology features and capabilities for the product, platform functions and features and overall digital solution. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the definition and development of a digital twin for refined products supply chain in bp's Fuel Supply and Midstream business, ensuring customer need, argument, strategic alignment, feature reuse and innovation are led throughout the Product Lifecycle. Taking ownership for the global delivery, this role will lead country or domain teams to drive scale and new market entry of new product offerings. This includes but is not limited to capturing and prioritizing product features at the strategic runway level; understanding and communicating customer requirements; shaping the product strategy and vision; and ensuring effective cost and revenue management. Working closely with business leads and managers, the product will initially focus on road transportation and secondary distribution network. You will be responsible for aligning multiple product work streams such as data, UI/UK and engineering to a single coherent vision, ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met as well as ensuring that the product supports bp's overall strategy and goals. This is a hands-on role with the expectation that you will bring day to day accountability and performance management to the product.

In this role You will:

  • Research customer trends and competitor activity to build a knowledge hub and improve product performance.
  • Deeply understand customer needs to drive innovative, value-driven product solutions.
  • Translate insights into clear product requirements and lead agile teams to deliver impactful features and experiences.
  • Collaborate across business, tech, and design teams to shape product vision and roadmap aligned with customer and business goals.
  • Champion user experience and agile practices (Scrum, Kanban), integrating customer feedback into development cycles.
  • Drive strategic development through partnerships, reuse of internal capabilities, and technology investments.
  • Manage product lifecycle, delivery roadmap, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient tech solutions using AWS and SaaS principles.
  • Apply design thinking, LEAN product development, and service design to enhance product outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, mentor agile practices, and influence stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.

What You will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Science, or Mathematics.
  • Fluent in English with 8+ years in product management.
  • Deep expertise in fuel supply and midstream, including demand forecasting, logistics, and supply optimization.
  • Strong grasp of SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proven experience in product operations, metrics development, and business-driven problem solving.
