Job Title: Contract Specialist
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day
Note: Weekly site visits required every Wednesday (12-hour day; depart at 5:50 AM, return from site at 4:00 PM)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Overview:
Our client, a leading company in the mining sector, is currently seeking a Contract Specialist to join their team in Saskatoon, SK. This role requires 3–5 years of experience in a similar capacity, with a strong background in construction contracts—ideally within the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer construction-related contracts, including cost reimbursable agreements
  
  
• Analyze and process contract variations
  
  
• Support project teams with contract interpretation and compliance
  
  
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contract terms are met
  
  
• Participate in weekly site visits to monitor progress and support on-site teams
  
  

Qualifications:

• Local candidates only (Saskatoon and surrounding area)
  
  
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Contract Specialist
  
  
• Strong construction industry experience required; mining experience is highly preferred
  
  
• Proven experience with cost reimbursable contract variations and a strong understanding of variation processes
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
  
  
• Experience with SAP and Procom is considered an asset
  
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
  
  
• Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven attitude
