Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary or alternate COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO), ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Act as the primary liaison between GE Aerospace's Digital Technology Team and GE Aerospace's Global Security - Enterprise Physical Security Team.
- Manage access and coordination with government sponsor(s) for a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) - Secure Conference Room (SCR).
- Ensure compliance with the Joint Special Access Implementation Guide (JSIG) and the DoD implementation guide for the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Provide guidance and training to ensure user awareness concerning unauthorized or illegal use of computer hardware and software.
- Execute daily physical security technology and cybersecurity activities, including planning, coordination, audits, scans, and other compliance measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain the highest standards of security and operational efficiency.
- Utilize technical expertise and judgment to solve problems and leverage analytic thinking to drive solutions.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related role.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices, including Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience managing secure facilities, such as SAPFs and/or SCIFs, and coordinating with government sponsors.
- Familiarity with DoD and/or Intelligence Community COMSEC policies and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, COMSEC certifications) are highly desirable.

- The base pay range for this position is $93,300.00-124,400.00 USD Annual The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
