T he SAP Testing Lead is responsible for enhancing the strategy , overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of software testing activities to ensure high-quality product delivery. This role involves managing a team of testers, developing test strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and third party to meet enterprise ERP testing goals . More o ver, this role manages the lifecycle and support of the Testing product suite , both the infrastructure and application layers.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Test Strategy & Planning

• Establish test standards and governance process in alignment with key stakeholders
• Develop and manage comprehensive test strategies and plans
• Define scope, objectives , resources, and timelines for testing activities
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies
• Progress use of AI tools in test automation maturity

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage QA/test engineers
• Oversees tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery
• Provide training and support to enhance team capabilities

Test Execution & Management

• Consulted on d esign, review, and execute test cases (manual and automated).
• Oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
• Track and manage defects using Tricentis tools .

Collaboration & Communication

• Regular engagement and alignment with ERP teams and the Digital Core Program
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback
• Report testing progress, metrics, and quality status to stakeholders

Process Improvement

• Evaluate and improve testing processes and tools
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices
• Promote test automation and continuous integration practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in SAP testing, and with at least 2 years in a lead role
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)

Preferred Certifications :

• ISTQB Certified Tester
• Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• ITIL Foundation
• ERP functional/technical
